THE CURATOR

The journey of Dushyant Singh as a restaurateur best exemplifies how one’s passion is nurtured into one’s profession. Besides his love for food that has made him a household name in the hospitality industry, Dushyant is also an avid traveller. He has judiciously balanced both and has brought in some of the most delectable and delightful experiences to food lovers in Jaipur, while taking our indigenous cuisines beyond the shores of the country. A successful restaurateur for over 7 years now, Dushyant is also a world-cuisine lover. Always eager to learn about new cuisines and ingredients, he loves indulging in quirky food experiments. It is his passion and dedication that has given Jaipur some of the most palatable experiences in dining, catering, and festivals.

Cross Cultural Engagement

Food and travel go hand-in-hand. There is probably no better way to experience the soul of a place than through its food. And, the best way to do that is by attending a food festival where one can participate in hands-on cooking demos, meet the chefs, and interact with fellow foodies. Globally renowned chefs are invited to experiment with unusual and authentic world cuisines that are not found on the regular menus and make the natives and experts relish their delicacies.

Over the last two years, Rajasthan has recorded an increase of 17.93% and 2.60% in the footfalls of domestic and foreign tourists, respectively. Our festival provides a platform to people from across the world to celebrate the best of cuisines and cultures.

Community

We will be inviting students from hotel management institutes based in Rajasthan to contribute to a variety of duties during the festival. Volunteers are critical to the success of a festival and they'll be working closely with the staff and visitors. Gourmet Getaway is the perfect platform for these students to gain coveted knowledge and exposure in food and hospitality industry.

On The House or OTH as it is popularly known, is a unique concept of bistro and bakers in Jaipur, serving sumptuous delicacies in a friendly, open ambiance that gives it an uptown European feel. Rustic - Inspired Kitchen, the brainchild of Mr. Dushyant Singh, focuses on presenting world cuisine before its customers and offers a friendly ambience that gives an unmistakable feel of a home. Since its inception, Rustic - Inspired Kitchen has aimed to give Jaipur some of the most palatable experiences in fine dining.
